🎓 Teaching

Teaching, to me, is the art of making what feels obvious to the expert become clear and engaging to someone encountering it for the first time. Inspired by Bertrand Russell’s book "On Education", with its emphasis on curiosity, engagement, and independent thought, I strive to create an environment where students question assumptions, think critically, and remain genuinely interested in the material. I approach teaching as a form of performance: carefully prepared, thoughtfully paced, and responsive to the room. Whether at the board or with slides, the aim is always the same—to keep students engaged, challenged, and motivated, while helping them see how individual topics connect into a coherent whole.

Here are representative courses that I teach at Ben-Gurion University; see my CV for the full history.
